Dear Vladimir,

I trust that your weekend was one of productivity and fruitful ministry. I was thinking and praying about the harvest field that we have been called to and how enormous the workload can appear. Chicago is a vast harvest field that seems never ending. When you really think about the Chicago-land area with over 13 million people, it can be an overwhelming thought of how we can make an impact.  Just think about these facts:
Chicago has the largest Polish population outside of Warsaw, Poland. However, we still do not have an established Polish Church of God congregation.
Middle Eastern Muslim population in Chicago-land is growing at an unprecedented rate, yet only a few Arabic language friendly speaking churches are presently in place to reach them.
There are 11,908 churches in Asia, but only one Asian outreach to the vast number of Asians who call Chicago home.
In just one of Chicago’s neighborhoods, one can hear over 80 different languages spoken in a space the size of one square mile. This area is known as one of the “most culturally diverse square mile in the world” with over 1000,000 residents of various cultural backgrounds.
Thought the fields are white unto harvest, I am ready for the challenge. What about you? He is the way we make an impact…. Start with your street, neighborhood, community. Let’s make an Impact, one person at a time.

Until All R’ Won!

YWEA 2011 – Lifting The Crosslifting the cross
This year, youth and children across the Church of God have a marvelous opportunity to strategically make a difference in the world through YWEA youth Missions.

I am challenging the Great Lakes Region Churches to take the lead in blessing the future of Ethiopia and at the same time take a stand against the rise of the Muslim doctrine. We have a chance to Lift the Cross higher than ever. Together, with every church working, we can raise $30,000 and set a new Great Lakes Region record for YWEA! Won’t you join us?
The 2011 YWEA manual and information packets along with a DVD for your church to see has been sent to every Senior Pastor. Please take time to invest into this great project. Also, go to www.myywea.com and find out more about this project and additional information.
If you would like to give towards this project or need to schedule a YWEA service at your church, please contact the Great Lakes Region Youth & Discipleship department. (630) 365-9361 or greatlakesyce@aol.com.

Any weakness you refuse to deal with, will draw you toward the wrong things and set you up fro defeat. To live victoriously you must recognize that:
You weakness can emerge at any time. What you allow to take root, will grow within you. What you fail to master now, will master you later. The Psalmist prayed, “Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone.” Psalm 71:9
God’s Spirit will repeatedly warn you. Jesus told Peter: “Satan hath desired to have you… But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Luke 22:31-32.
